Memi would be 100 years old this month if she were still with us, and let me tell you she would have been on Willard Scott calling him "sweetie pie". So let's celebrate! She was full of life, and loved children, so Memi's is having a special on pottery the last two weeks in May in her honor! We will paint a custom birthday plate for someone you love (they can be born any month) for $20.00 on a 10" dinner plate! The plate will have a birthday cake (you pick the colors) with polka dots or stripes with their name and HAPPY BIRTHDAY. COME PAINT WITH US. Our summer class schedule is full of classes for adults, children and introducing our TEEN classes (ages 13-17). We will be offering a variety of subjects, mediums, canvas sizes and of course TALENT! We heard a testimony from someone the other day saying, "I had never painted a stroke until I painted with Scott and I am amazed at what I did! I love it!" ALL the instructors are like that...we are so fortunate to have them at MEMI'S!!

TUESDAY is Story time and paint with the POTTERY LADY from 1-2. OOPS, it is usually the 2nd Tuesday of the month but Memi was too busy celebrating her birthday. A great time for 3-5 year olds to sing songs, paint pottery and of course have a ball. Mom's can shop at Memi's and then stroll down to our neighbors to have an hour of shopping! $15.00 reservations required.
DON"T FORGET....DANCE of the DRAGONFLIES this SUNDAY at the Carnegie from 2-5 p.m. Decatur is fortunate to have this museum to provide these glorious dragonflies adding art all over our downtown! Thank you to the Carnegie and all the artist for providing these beautiful creatures!
